Märta Måås-Fjetterström Rya Rug, Sweden 1930s rugsA very rare and special Swedish carpet "Svart Primavera" was designed in 1920 at Mrta's studio in Bastd and produced before her death in 1941. Geometric diamond & triangle pattern on dark brown round with pink, yellow, and green accents. This is such a fun rug! The fringes are perfectly imperfect, and I had one end fully repaired to it's original pattern. This is a fine example of the rya weaving technique the OG shag carpet. Signed MMF. 90. 5" x 52"
