one can only be left wondering why it took designers so long to realise the advantage of actually having the gunner in the back seat

The basic concept of the image was to catch the aircraft in a sunset environment with the sun just catching the tops of the clouds

a similar unit but with reverse winding mechanism

My print is reproduced on top quality giclee photo rag cotton paper allowing all the visible details to be seen

The actual aircraft was flying whilst it was being painted which I thought was rather nice. The image represents K7985 of 73 Squadron presently based at the Shuttleworth Museum. Artist signed limited edition giclee print image size 14" x 10", overall size 16" x 13"
