Since 2000, famous Japanese mystery writers have blended their own limited edition whiskies, with each year's "best" blend being bottled and released in a "Nazo" (Mysterious) edition. These yearly releases, such as Nazo 2000 and Nazo 2001, are only available in limited quantities. This was the 1st release Nazo 2000 in the series.
